Pet Surgery

Oak Hammock Animal Hospital is can provide variety of soft tissue surgeries for cats and dogs in Sebring and the greater Highlands County community. Our veterinary staff is trained in all types of soft tissue surgery, from routine spay and neuters to tumor removal and delicate eye procedures. If your pet needs orthopedic or other specialized surgery, we will gladly provide a referral.

We realize pet surgery on your loved one can be a stressful time. Therefore, we take every precaution to ensure positive outcomes and a quick recovery for our patients. Before any surgery, we run blood work and perform a full physical exam. This helps detect underlying concerns and reduce anesthesia risks. While in surgery, your pet's vital signs are watched at all times, intravenous fluids are provided, and a blanket which circulates warm air is used to keep your pet comfortable during and after their procedure. Most of all, our team works to manage your pet's pain and protect their safety before, during, and after surgery.
